The scholarships serve as a platform for students to enhance their learning and network with top industry experts, the Association said.
The seven winners – all aged under 30 – were publicly recognised at last week’s HOSPACE 2013 conference and exhibition, held at London Heathrow’s Sofitel Hotel. They will go on to be profiled in HOSPA’s monthly magazine, The Overview.
HOSPA chief executive Carl Weldon said: “The scholarships give hospitality students – and those at the beginning of their careers in hospitality finance, revenue management and IT – an invaluable platform for enhancing learning and networking with top industry experts, whilst gaining recognition from the hospitality profession at large.”
“The awards confirm HOSPA’s ongoing commitment to the future of the industry,” Weldon added.
