The Fagor AD20 is an undercounter glasswasher that can wash 16 glasses per hour. With double rotating wash and rinse systems above and below the basket, it uses 2.5 litres of water per cycle, and comes with an anti-return protection system that prevents wastewater returning to the tank. A drain pump is optional.
The rather handy thermostop function is said to guarantee the rinsing water temperature will reach at least 85C – the minimum required to prevent bacterial growth.
The unit also has built-in detergent and rinse aid dosers, plus an error and malfunction diagnostic system that saves on downtime.
The starting price of the AD20 is £1,390.
Why you should buy it:
According to Valera, the unit is simple to operate and easy to maintain. A digital display allows the operator to keep an eye on the water temperatures during all stages of the wash, while a double skinned, insulated wash tank reduces both noise and heat loss. The 15-litre tank also has rounded corners for easier cleaning and draining.
