Franco Manca is planning to open another six sites in London over the next 18 months

Burgeoning pizza chain Franco Manca is to open a further six sites in London over the next 18 months and is exploring options to franchise the concept overseas.

The group, which is led by David Page, the former chief executive of Pizza Express and Italian chef Giuseppe Mascoli, has just opened its sixth site in London's Tottenham Court Road and is understood to be in talks to acquire The Draft House on Lordship Lane in East Dulwich.

A further restaurant in South Kensington will open in the first half of next year, with one on Broadway Market in Hackney also on the cards.
