Bill’s and Byron have both been confirmed as tenants for the 10 Hammersmith Grove development in west London, which is owned by Development Securities Plc and Scottish Widows Investment Partnership Property Trust.

According to our sister title M&C Report, Bill’s has taken a 20-year lease on a 3,364 sq.ft unit comprising 1,957 sq.ft on the ground floor and 1,407 sq.ft on a mezzanine level. The rent is undisclosed.

Meanwhile Byron has taken a 25-year lease on a 3,110 sq.ft unit, comprising 1,684 sq.ft on the ground floor and 1,426 sq.ft on a mezzanine level. The rent is undisclosed.

Camilla Topham, of Shelley Sandzer, which acted for the landlords, said: “This is a really exciting new development and we’re pleased to have secured such strong brands so early on. Both have a really strong following and have been major success stories of recent years. We are very confident they will trade well in this latest location.”

10 Hammersmith Grove is an nine floor grade A office building, which overlooks a new landscaped public area and is opposite Lyric Square. It is the first phase of a 275,000 office scheme.

Bill’s currently operates 30 venues across London and the South East, with one due to soon in Windsor. Byron now operates 35 sites throughout London, plus units in Liverpool, Manchester, Bluewater in Kent, Cambridge and Oxford, plus one opening soon at the O2.

Both restaurants are now open. Richard Simmonds of RSA acted for Byron.
