The hotels in Brighton, Norwich, Leeds and East Kilbride, which had already been managed by Kew Green Hotels under franchise, will now undergo refurbishment by the company's in-house capital projects team.
Kew Green Hotels chief executive Paul Johnson said: "We are delighted to have acquired these hotels and look forward to seeing them develop as we refurbish them.
"This acquisition is part of our strategy to expand our UK portfolio to in excess of 60 hotels through a mix of single asset and portfolio acquisitions."
Richmond-based Kew Green Hotels now operates 30 hotels across the UK under six major brands; Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Crowne Plaza, Days Hotel, Ramada and Courtyard by Marriott. It also operates The Richmond Hill Hotel, a four star property in South West London.
