Luxury tableware specialist Goodfellows has launched a new range of fine bone china designed by ceramics design graduates from Staffordshire University.

Product details:

The Flux range is manufactured by flux Stoke-on-Trent, a ceramic design company set up by Staffordshire University in 2010.

The Flux collection on sale through Goodfellows is made up of 12 designs in three ranges:

• Flux Cobalt - contemporary classic blue on white

• Flux Gold - quintessentially English, hand printed and gilded gold

• Flux Platinum - aspirational and sophisticated, a contemporary twist of cool modernity

The flux collection brings together the work of a team of talented ceramics design graduates under the creative direction of award-winning designer at the university, Professor David Sanderson.

Why should you buy it:

Goodfellows managing director Valda Goodfellow said: “Combining classic styles with ground breaking designs is no easy task to pull off, but this range is absolutely stunning. We are incredibly proud to support this important project, which is already winning awards and playing its part in the revival of the English ceramics industry.

“Staffordshire has a long tradition of combining quality manufacturing with cutting edge design and it is a privilege to be involved in the development of what will be a powerful brand. Demand for the flux range is increasing and we believe it will be a great success story that will put English ceramics back on the map.”
