Survey seeks young people's views on pub and bar careers

The Pub & Bar Careers Survey is aimed at employees aged between 18-24, and general managers under the age of 30.The survey asks ten questions on career progression, ambition and achievements, and all answers will be kept completely anonymous.
The Pub & Bar Careers programme encourages youngsters to find employment in the pub and bar sector by providing relevant work experience and qualifications.
The programme was launched in March 2013 by the Perceptions Group - a collective of industry bosses - to boost employment in the hospitality sector, which will need to recruit over 100,000 people by 2018.
Within a week of its launch, industry operators had pledged more than 400 placements to youngsters.
The deadline for the survey is the 7 February 2014 and it can be found on the Pub & Bar Careers programme blog.
