Catering equipment supplier Nisbets has added a new heated bread basket to its range to allow restaurants, hotels and pubs to provide their customers with warm bread at the table.

Product details:

The new APS Heated Bread Baskets from Nisbets are small cotton bags which can gently warm bread placed inside prior to being presented to diners. Bags feature a removable cherry stone pillow base that can be removed and heated in a 600 watt microwave for one minute before being placed back inside to warm bread. Bags are available in machine-washable beige and brown-beige cotton and have a drawstring tie handle that allows bread to be covered before going to the table.

Bread can be served warm at the table without having to heat it up in an oven first. The baskets keep bread warm for several minutes allowing them to be used directly at the table or on a breakfast buffet.

Why you should buy it:

"The APS bread bag offers operators the chance to offer this to customers either on a buffet or at the table as opposed to simply serving bread at room temperature and the quality, rustic design is great for front-of-house presentation," said a spokesperson for Nisbets. "The cotton fabric also allows the bread to suitably breathe, ensuring a crisp firm outer, whilst the drawstring tie handle means that the rolls, baguettes or bread can be covered when not in use."
