Coffee specialist Cherizena has launched a new banoffee pie-flavoured coffee without the calories normally associated with the traditional dessert.

USP:

Cherizena has a reputation for creating unusual flavours - the banoffee pie blend is one of 25 different flavoured coffees offered by the wholesale supplier The firm also sells premium, speciality and seasonal coffees to cafés, coffee shops, independent retailers, pubs, bars, hotels and guest houses across the UK.

In recent years the family-run firm, based on the Leicestershire/Nottinghamshire border, has developed a number of new flavours such as salted caramel, toffee apple, cider apple, sticky gingerbread and Caribbean calypso. Its limited edition Christmas coffee is a popular addition to festive coffee menus.

Cost:

Varies depending on quantity. To discuss this call the Cherizena sales team on 01664 820111.

Availability:

The new flavour is available to all UK foodservice businesses now, in a variety of pack sizes up to a kilo in size. It can also be teamed up with Cherizena’s 'snip and pour' packs for filter machines, which are available in boxes of 50, including filter papers.

The new flavour, along with the rest of Cherizena’s range, can be personalised and branded, or sold under the Cherizena brand.

Why you should buy it:

“The demand for flavoured coffee has soared in recent times,” said Kate Jones, who runs Cherizena. “Younger coffee drinkers particularly seem keen on flavoured blends, so we’re constantly looking at how we can create new and interesting flavours that we can offer wholesale to our trade customers, who can in turn attract customers by providing attractive coffee menus.”
