Bernhard Mayer, executive chef, The Sloane Club
Bernhard Mayer has been appointed as executive chef of The Sloane Club and The Apartments by The Sloane Club.
The German-born chef has spent several years working in Hong Kong and Jakarta and his recipes often include some Asian influence, using ingredients such as lemongrass, star anise and coriander.
Previously at The Four Seasons London, and more recently The Savoy, Bernhard will oversee all the menus that are served at The Sloane Club - from breakfast to afternoon tea, lunch and dinner in the Bar and Dining Room as well as private events in the Chelsea Rooms and at The Apartments by The Sloane Club.
