Keith Lemon to present prize at Publican Awards

Keith Lemon, the new face of Hooch, will make an appearance at the Publican Awards 2014

TV personality Keith Lemon will present a prize at the ceremony for this year’s Publican Awards, which is taking place in London next month.

Lemon was signed as the new face of Hooch earlier this year, and will present the prize for Best Business Initiative, which is being sponsored by the drinks company. The star will also chat with guests at the Hooch bar at the event.

Global Brands’ marketing director, Simon Green, said: “We wanted someone to take Hooch to the next level, and hoo could be better than Keith Lemon? Keith will be bringing his lemon-filled humour (and, of course, more Hooch than you can shake a citrus fruit at) to the Publican Awards and we’re very excited to be taking part in such a unique way.”

Jo Bruce, the Publican’s Morning Advertiser managing editor, said: “We are really excited that Keith Lemon is going to be at this year’s Publican Awards, which will add even further to the fun and excitement of this great night."

The Publican Awards, organised by BigHospitality’s sister publication The Publican's Morning Advertiser (PMA), recognise the achievements of pub companies across the UK.

This year’s ceremony will take place at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel on 25 March and is being presented by comedian John Bishop.

Guest will enjoy a menu devised by MasterChef: The Professionals winner and Treby Arms chef Anton Piotrowski, as well as refreshments provided by leading drinks companies.
