Asset management firm Dominvs Group have purchased the Tower Bridge Magistrates’ Court and police station in London and plan to open a luxury hotel in the space.

The property will be turned into a 150-200 unit Hotel positioned only 200m from the famous Tower Bridge. The building, which spans 46,000sq ft and is three storeys tall, was originally constructed in 1906 and is Grade II listed. Dominvs intend to regenerate and reposition the site in the hopes of turning it into a landmark for the area.

Director of Dominvs Group Preet Ahluwalia said: "After an intensive and competitive bidding process, we are pleased to have secured The Tower Bridge site.  This is a once in a decade investment opportunity and its prime location parallel to the Thames River and access to central and South East London aligns with our London acquisition strategy."

This acquisition is the eighth Dominvs Group has made in the past year. They now have a hospitality portfolio spanning 500,00sq ft and a forecast room count of more than 1200.

The 0.62 acre site rests in Tooley Street in London with a number of useful transport links nearby.
