The tankard features the Captain Morgan’s trademark logo and aims to maximise rum and rum-based spirit drink sales for publicans and drive enthusiasm towards the golden and spiced rum category.
Sarah Browne from On Trade Category Marketing at Captain Morgan said: “Consumers are looking for something different on a night out and the tankard gives them the opportunity to try something new.
“By using the branded glassware publicans could maximise their sales and capitalise on the opportunity the growing golden and spiced rum category offers to them, as well as encouraging new adult drinkers to the category through exciting POS material.”
A case of tankards is free and publicans only have to pay the delivery charges.
Tankards are available to the on-trade from the mid-April and come in cases of 12.
