Deli and café brand The Natural Kitchen has taken the former Canteen site on Baker Street for its fourth delicatessen and artisan food store in central London.

The 4,500 sq.ft café will open in late spring, offering its signature range of seasonal salads, quiches, soups, pies and sandwiches along with made-to-order juices, smoothies, milkshakes, teas & coffees - all available to eat in or take away.

“As we grow The Natural Kitchen brand, our emphasis is on securing great sites in high-profile locations that have a good mix of visitors and local residents,” said The Natural Kitchen’s managing director Justin Green.

The deli and café brand has taken the site from Canteen with 14 years left to run on the lease.

Nick Weir, joint managing partner at Shelley Sandzer – which acted on behalf of Canteen, said: “This is a great new location for The Natural Kitchen and will further complement their current portfolio in London, building on the success of their debut on Marylebone High Street.”

The Natural Kitchen’s other sites are on Fetter Lane, Marylebone High Street and Pepys Street.
