At number two was El Celler de Can Roca, which has been on the list for more than a decade and took the coveted top spot last year. The restaurant, run by brothers Josep, Jordi and Joan Roca, has been hailed for its accomplished presentation of Catalan cuisine, as well as its mesmerising array of wines and sherries and the genuine hospitality afforded to guests. Youngest brother Jordi was named the World’s Best Pastry Chef this year.
