From its eighth-floor, 88m-long rooftop terrace, Galadari will boast views of St Paul’s, No.1 Blackfriars, The Shard and Tate Modern, and feature a Japanese menu, though the firm has not yet decided on a head chef.
Dishes will include modern tapas as well as barbecued meats, steak and seafood alongside lighter izakaya-style small plates including sushi, sticks and skewers for lunch. Guests at the high-end dining venue will be able to choose the flavour of smoke they want for their steak between oak, cedar and olive.
The cocktail menu lists seven signature blends alongside shochu highballs and a collection of Japanese fine whiskey served with charcoal filtered water. Sake, house-made sodas and a range of Laurent Perrier vintages will also be on offer, and the bar will feature a cigar terrace, fire pit and canopy to protect guests from bad weather.
Additionally, the menu includes a classic and contemporary range of Japanese teas with bespoke scented and blended varieties.
The penthouse-inspired design features rich leathers, bespoke art and iconic photography of hedonistic London and Tokyo, with a semi-private snug available for exclusive hire.
