The five-star London hotel topped the UK list in TripAdvisor’s 2014 Travellers’ Choice Hotels with Exceptional Service awards, which are based on millions of reviews and opinions posted on the TripAdvisor website.
It was also voted sixth best in Europe and nineteenth in the world for customer service.
One hotel guest described the hotel’s staff as: “Exceptionally warm, gracious and attentive, assisting with everything from dinner recommendations to babysitters to helping us locate and get to a late-night pharmacy.”
Red Carnation Hotel Collection
The win follows another Red Carnation property - London’s Milestone hotel - being crowned the UK’s best hotel in the 2014 Trip Advisor Travellers’ Choice awards.

Lauriston Court - a small family-run business in Llandudno, Wales that charges just £37 per person per night - was voted second in the UK, seventh in Europe and 20th in the world for customer service.

“We’re never complacent and always continuing to look at ways for us to improve – but it’s fantastic to know that our hard work isn’t going unnoticed with another Travellers’ Choice Service award under our belt.”
La Haule Manor was rated third in the UK and tenth in Europe.
TripAdvisor’s Exceptional Service awards follow on from the annual Traveller’s Choice awards, announced earlier this year.
