Shangri-La Hotel, At the Shard
Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts opened its long awaited London property at the Shard in London Bridge on 6 May.
Shangri-La Hotel, At the Shard is located on floors 34 to 52 of the spire-shaped, glass-clad Shard and offers 360-degree views of London and its famous landmarks including the Houses of Parliament, Tower of London and St. Paul’s Cathedral.
The hotel has 202 guestrooms and streets which are among the largest in London, averaging more than 42 square metres (452 square feet). They feature Chinese art reinterpreted in a modern, abstract way alongside a soothing colour scheme and mood lighting, as well as the exclusive “Shangri-La Bed” featuring patented body-contouring technology, marble-clad bathrooms with heated floors and Acqua di Parma amenities.
The hotel’s signature restaurant and lounge, Tīng, is located on level 35 and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, serving a modern European menu with a hint of Asian flavouring. It also has a patisserie and artisan deli, Láng, and London’s highest champagne and cocktail bar on level 52, Gŏng (pictured)
