The Wi-Fi system uses existing telephone sockets, so is cheaper and easier to install than other Wi-Fi upgrade options
Netwrx has launched a new Wi-Fi solution enabling hotels to offer high-speed wall-to-wall coverage in guest rooms using existing telephone cabling.

Product details:

The system consists of a tamper-resistant front panel unit that is fitted to in-room telephone sockets.  Additional ports can be fixed for increased features such as IPTV or On-Demand movies and games, and the panel supports both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands.

USP:

Unlike most other Wi-Fi upgrade options, the Netwrx system relies on existing telephone lines, so there is no need for businesses to invest in costly surveys or cable installations.  It is also easy and quick to install, so there is no disruption to business during the upgrade process.

Availability and price:

Available through Netwrx now, call 0800 2707980 or email radhvevrf@argjek.pb.hx for more information. Price on application.

Why you should buy it:

Director of Netwrx, Luci Matthews, said. “When you are away on business the last thing you want is difficulties in accessing Wi-Fi. Typical wireless systems create areas where little or no coverage is available forcing guests to go to the lobby or restaurant, worse still they could end up sitting in corridors or even bathrooms before finding adequate speed.

“It is generally cost prohibitive to upgrade the full hotels infrastructure but as our new system relies on existing telephone lines, it is a simple solution and can save businesses time and money. It is no longer good enough to offer paying business customers a limited service when others in the market will be taking advantage of more up-to-date solutions.”
