Greek street food outlet 21 Bateman Street has opened its doors in Soho, London. 

The menu emphasises souvlaki (meat skewers) cooked on a charcoal robata-style grill, including pork, lamb, chicken and vegetarian (tomato, mastelo cheese, pepper, onion and mushroom). They can be served on their own, or wrapped in Greek flatbread with tzatzki, mint yoghurt or mustard sauce.

Other starters range from pitta bread and Kalamata olives to baked feta or wild boar sausage, along with a three-meat burger (also available stuffed with feta) and a daily special. 

For dessert, the venue offers Greek yoghurt with a daily selection of toppings. 

The drinks menu features two red and two white Greek wines (priced from £4.20), and Fix beer (brewed in Greece). Greek tea is also available, alongside coffee. 

Open daily for lunch and dinner, 21 Bateman Street gas 22 seats at tables and benches, and plans to launch a live Greek music night on Tuesday evenings.
