Ferran Adria will head up the inaugural Estrella Damm Gastronomy Congress
World-renowned chef Ferran Adrià will head up the Estrella Damm Gastronomy Congress, in association with Restaurant magazine, today (30 June) at the Hurlingham Club.

Adrià will give a keynote presentation on the progressive nature of Spanish food and a take part at an informal Q&A session at the inaugural Congress, which has a theme of 'modern tapas' and precedes the National Restaurant Awards 2014​.

He will be joined by top Spanish chefs David Gil and Fran Aguda from Tickets in Barcelona, who will showcase some of their dishes and cutting-edge techniques and dishes in their live cooking demonstration. 

Tom Kerridge from Michelin-starred The Hand & Flowers will also showcase his take on British tapas, while Jose Pizarro from Pizarro and Jose in London’s Bermondsey will talk about Spanish tapas in the UK and showcase one of his dishes.
