Gymkhana stole the top spot at last night's National Restaurant Awards 2014, but what other venues made it into the top 10? Check out our interactive map for more details on the ten best restaurants in the UK.

The National Restaurant Awards 2014, organised by Restaurant Magazine and sponsored by Estrella Damm, took place the Hurlingham Club in London yesterday, celebrating the best restaurants the UK has to offer.

Gymkhana was named number one this year, while crowdfunded restaurant The Clove Club, last year's Highest New Entry, stormed into second place. The Ledbury remained in the top three, and Tom and Beth Kerridge's The Hand and Flowers was in fourth place, winning the title of Gastropub of the Year.

Other restaurants in this year's top 10 included Pollen Street Social, The Sportsman, Hedone, L'Enclume, Dinner by Heston Blumenthal - whose head chef Ashley Palmer-Watts was named Chefs' Chef of the Year - and The Square.

Now in their seventh year, the National Restaurant Awards, organised by Restaurant Magazine and sponsored by Estrella Damn, recognise the top 100 UK restaurants in the UK, as voted for by industry experts.

For restaurants to make it onto the top 100 list, they must be voted for by members of the National Restaurant Awards Academy – which is made up of 150 restaurateurs, chefs, food critics and journalists across 12 regions.
