Michael Fowler
Michael Fowler (left) has taken over as head chef at 5-star fine-dining restaurant with rooms The Marquis at Alkham, Kent. Fowler has almost 20 years experience and joins The Marquis from Prince’s Golf Club and Brasserie on the Bay in Sandwich, where he worked as head chef and gained two coveted AA Rosettes. He has also worked for the Michelin-starred Walnut Tree in Abergavenny,Wales, and at renowned restaurants in France and Canada. His will be joined in the kitchen by his brother David (right), who spent two years training under Michael at the Prince's Gulf Club and has been appointed as sous chef.
