Chefs Nathan Outlaw, Simon Hulstone and Eric Lanlard are set to host a fundraising dinner for industry charity Hospitality Action later this year.

The event will take place at Brasserie Joël, Park Plaza Westminster Bridge on 1 December, with a champagne and canapé reception followed by a meal prepared by the three chefs. Tickets are priced at £135 per person or £1,300 for a table of 10.

Hospitality Action is also holding a Sporting Legends Lunch at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower on the 17 October, with World Cup winner Matt Dawson MBE as a guest speaker. Other sporting guests due to attend include Bob Champion, John Conteh, Bobby George, Matthew Hoggard MBE, Derek Redmond and Willie Thorne.

The charity has also organised a Charity Polo Day in Gloucestershire and the York to London Cycle Challenge, both of which are taking place in September.

Last year, Hospitality Action spent £508,000 on supporting 1,696 past and present hospitality workers that have fallen on hard times. Some 77 per of these were under the age of 60 – which is an 18 per cent increase compared to 2012.
