The firm will be signing the first lease in the next few days, and is in final negotiations for the other venue, both in office buildings.
It most recently (19 June) opened its third site at the City Point office complex, offering its own coffee brand, roasted in its King’s Cross facilities, as well as baked goods, sandwiches and salads.
From 5pm, the venue offers a menu of sharing dishes, cheese boards, salads and nibbles, as well as a couple of fish dishes, including a home-cured salmon dish – all complemented by a selection of wines.
“While we were negotiating the lease we asked if we could put a cart there in the meantime for pre-awareness. It worked really well because it built up a good customer base and gave us a chance to explain what the brand is and why our coffee’s different, because the carts are such an intimate space, a couple of guys with very little space between them and the customer,” Notes director Edward Halfon told BigHospitality.
The brand already has another two venues in Covent Garden, and three carts currently in operation.
