Tom Kerridge, Phillip Howard, Brett Graham and Clare Smyth MBE are among the chefs that will take to the stage at the Restaurant Show 2014.

The show - taking place at Earl’s Court 2 on 6-8 October - will feature a packed Centre Stage programme of inspirational workshops, lively debates, one-to-one interviews and compelling cooking demos.

The Restaurant Show team worked closely with the The Restaurant Show team works closely with the Restaurant Magazine’s ‘S. Pellegrino World’s 50 Best’ and the ‘National Restaurant Awards’ Top 100 to secure renowned restaurateurs and chefs.

Kerridge will showcase some contemporary British dishes and reveal the secrets behind his twoMichelin-starred pub The Hand and Flowers, while Howard and Graham will join forces for a masterclass on getting the best out of game. Smyth will prepare a signature seafood dish with ingredients sourced from the waters around the Scottish coast.

Pastry and wine insights

The show will also feature top pastry chefs Hideko Kawa, who used to head up the pastry team at The Fat Duck, and Joakim Prat, who was previously head pastry chef at L’Atleier de Joel Robuchon in London and the three Michelin-starred Can Fabes in Spain.

Sunaina Sethi, wine buyer and operations director for Trishna and Gymkhana, which won this year’s National Restaurant Awards, and The Fat Duck’s head sommelier, Isa Bal will give tips on putting together a wine list, while Richard Bertinet, baker and owner of the Bertinet Bakery and The Bertinet Kitchen will show visitors how to build bread making into their kitchen repertoire.

Advice and competitions

OpenTable will run a series of business debates to get into the heart of the issues that matter to today’s restaurant industry, and BigHospitality will host a panel debate on the skills shortage in the hospitality industry.

Elsewhere in the show, the Competition Theatre will play host to a variety of high-profile competitions, including the first UK Sugar Championship Junior Trophy, the Young National Chef of the Year, the National Chef of the Year and the Compass Group Apprentice, Junior and Senior Chef of the Year.
