Twenty industry members have raised £30,000 for Hospitality Action in the charity's York to London Cycle Challenge.

The event was sponsored by Bunzl’s catering and hospitality division, Caterers Linen Supply and Sous Vide Tools .

Matt Johnson, managing director of Bunzl UK and Ireland and a trustee of Hospitality Action, said: “The commitment and dedication of the 20 participants to complete this incredibly tough challenge and raise such an outstanding amount of money for such a worthwhile cause, is fantastic.”

The next fundraiser for Hospitality Action – the Sporting Legends Luncheon – will take place on 17 October at Jumeriah Carlton Tower, London.

This will be followed by the charity’s Christmas gala at Brasserie Joel within the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London, with chefs Nathan Outlaw, Simon Hulstone and Eric Lanlard cooking up a feast for guests.
