Montcalm Luxury Hotels will open its fifth London hotel, M by Montcalm, in Shoreditch early next year.

M by Montcalm will be a new-build hotel in a 23-storey ‘contemporary tower’ located on City Road.

The hotel will have 269 rooms and a selection of restaurants and bars. It will also feature a wellness centre and gym, business facilities, a private members club called The Hoxton Social and a rooftop bar known as The Sky Lounge.

Montcalm Luxury Hotels London management team said: “We are very excited about the launch of M by Montcalm.

“Although different in character from our existing properties, being an ultra-modern new-build, it will offer the impeccable service and luxury surroundings our guests have come to expect at all our hotels.”

Rooms and facilities

Guestrooms at the M by Montcalm will be modern in design and include en-suite bathrooms with rain showers and ‘designer’ toiletries. Designed to cater to the business traveller, the rooms will include work desks as well as complimentary Wi-Fi and 24-hour room service facilities.

Montcalm Luxury Hotels will also offer the latest hospitality technology, with all rooms and suites featuring an in-room control panel which will allow guests to remotely adjust the lighting, monitor the room temperature and control the curtains. Room service will also available via the control panel, and the rooms all have wall-mounted plasma TV screens which double as mirrors.

The hotel is being designed by SGP Contracts, while the futurist tower building itself was designed by 5plus Architects.

M by Montcalm will be the fifth property owned and operated by the Montcalm group, which already has the The Montcalm London Marble Arch, The Marble Arch by Montcalm London, The Montcalm at the Brewery London City, and London City Suites by Montcalm in its portfolio.
