Bespoke Hotels has confirmed that Hotel Gotham will open on Manchester’s King Street in April 2015.

The luxury art deco hotel will open in the former Midland Bank headquarters – a building designed by renowned architect Edwin Lutyens.

Spread over seven floors, the hotel will feature 60 deluxe bedrooms, a restaurant and a 7th floor bar and private members club with a roof terrace that takes advantage of the building's views across Manchester. It will boast several suites with their own private internal gardens.

Robin Sheppard, chairman of Bespoke "Hotel Gotham is really taking shape now. The construction team at Marshall's and our design partners at Squid-Inc are on track to deliver an exceptional and glamorous hotel, in a beautiful historic building.  We can feel the excitement bubbling."

Bespoke Hotels wants Hotel Gotham to be ‘the sexiest hotel in Europe’ and promises the interior of the building will match its impressive art deco exterior.
