German hotdog brand Herman ze German has opened its third site in London’s Fitzrovia.

Located on Charlotte Street, the restaurant serves grilled gluten and lactose-free Bratwurst, Chilli Beef, Currywurst and Bockwurst hot dogs, with toppings including sauerkraut and crispy onions, as well as a schnitzel and pommes salad.

The Fitzrovia venues also saw the launch of a Vegan Wurst as an alternative to the traditional German sausage.

The free range meat used in the sausages is sourced exclusively from a family butcher in Germany’s Black Forest, and sides include salad and air-fried chips.

Popular or rare German beers are available on tap or bottled.

Herman ze German was founded in 2008 as a food truck and pop-up concept. After touring music festivals in the UK, the brand launched its first permanent site in in London's Villiers Street in 2010 and then a second shop on Old Compton Street in August 2013.
