Cookery school launches new catering skills courses

Swinton Park Cookery School has introduced a series skills development courses for individuals and small businesses in hospitality and catering.

Product details:

The development classes will be run by chef director Stephen Bulmer. They will teach professional skills, increase recipe repertories and explain some of the latest culinary techniques in an understandable manner.

Themes covered in the classes will include fish and shellfish, game and meat cookery, bread-making, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine, and desserts. 

The cookery school features the latest kitchen equipment from Gaggenau, Magimix and Le Creuset and has its own walled garden, which provides fresh fruit, vegetables and herbs to the kitchens.

USP:

Course tutor Stephen Bulmer was a finalist in the ‘Best Tutor’ category at the British Cookery School Awards and has 20 years of experience at Michelin-level restaurants throughout Europe.

Availability:

There are two, three and five-day courses available, beginning the week commencing 12 January 2015.

Price:

Prices start from £300 and there is hotel accommodation available at the rate of £110 per room per night, including breakfast.
