Lindsey Cooper and Diana Frangou of Baker Tilly Restructuring & Recovery LLP were appointed as joint administrators on 3 October 2014.
At the date of administration, the hotel employed 22 members of staff – four of which were made redundant following the administrators’ appointment. The remaining 18 members of staff are still employed while the hotel continues to trade to give the administrators time to find a buyer.
The hotel has 26 en-suite bedrooms, and the leisure facilities include indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a sauna and a gymnasium. The 35-acre site also includes 18 self-contained holiday cottages, which will be included in the sale.
