Another lobster-focused casual dining concept is set to hit London next month, offering East Coast-inspired seafood to eat-in or take-out.

The 30-cover Fraq’s Lobster Shack will open on Goodge Street, serving a menu of lobster and seafood dishes hailing from the East Coast of the US with an average spend of £25.

The restaurant is the latest concept from Andrea and Alberto Fraquelli, third generation members of the family behind the Metropolitan Restaurants group.

BigHospitality reported yesterday that Lobster Kitchen, a Maine-inspired lobster shack restaurant, will open in Fitzrovia in November.

Burger & Lobster, one of the first casual dining concepts to seize on lobster products, recently signed a lease for its first Welsh branch and secured a second Soho site.

Franq’s Lobster Shack will open at 55 Goodge Street, W1T 1TQ in Mid-November.
