Bromic has launched the Tungsten Portable heater for hotels and restaurants.

Capable of heating a 20m2 size area with a heat output of 11.7Kw, the heater is described at seven times more powerful than traditional outdoor heaters, though more economical and greener.

Running on long-lasting LPG gas, the product has a hidden gas canister, making it easy to carry and store.

It could cut hoteliers and restaurateurs’ costs and their need for traditional mushroom heaters.

Paul Holt, business manager at Smart Fire UK, said: “Exterior heating is often one of the biggest expenses for those in the hospitality industry. Not only is there the initial expense of having to buy the heaters, the upkeep of them and their running costs can be very pricey.

“That's where the Bromic range works well. Not only are they more effective than standard heaters, meaning you have to buy less of them, but are also cheaper to run.

The heater is priced at £1350 and includes a pivoting head and heat control through an adjustable heat output.
