The partnership between the two brands gives Mama Shelter access to Accor’s development and distribution network, allowing it to accelerate its openings. Mama Shelter will open 20 new sites in the next five years in Europe and the USA, including a hotel in London.
The acquisition also allows Accor to expand its offering with a different type of hotel. Mama Shelter is a budget hotel brand which offers an ‘urban retreat’ experience in a number of large French cities.
