Lake District Dairy Co. Quark from First Milk has been launched to foodservice outlets and caterers through a new listings deal with foodservice supplier Brakes.  

Product details:

Lake District Dairy Co. Quark is a naturally fat-free dairy ingredient that’s high in protein. It is a no fat, low sugar and low salt substitute ingredient in many dishes.

Quark can replace the likes of cream cheese, double cream, mascarpone, Greek yoghurt and crème fraiche in both sweet and savoury recipes.

USP:

Quark offers caterers a healthier alternative for customers. It is the only dairy ingredient that is ‘all green’ on the GDA scores, making it good choice for healthy menu options.
