Hotel du Vin to open first London hotel
Cannizaro House was acquired for an undisclosed sum and will launch as part of the Hotel du Vin collection in 2015, following a £1m refurbishment.
The boutique hotel currently has individually designed bedrooms, as well as a three rosette restaurant, a lounge bar, an orangerie and space to host events such as conferences and weddings.
The acquisition of Cannizaro House takes Hotel’s du Vin’s hotel portfolio to 16 hotels. It will be the group’s first hotel inside the M25. Previously, the group only operated hotels in regional cities and towns including Canterbury, Brighton, and most recently St Andrews.

Cannizaro House is located within Cannizaro Park and sits adjacent to Wimbledon Common, 25 minutes from central London within the M25.
Situated in expansive parklands, the hotel is close to Wimbledon's boutique shopping area and the All England Club, meaning it benefits from the activity generated by the Wimbledon Tennis Championships.
