The new concept will be opened above The Crown & Shuttle on Liverpool Street, in a room which will be converted into a bar with an ‘outdoor’ feel.
Langley’s Yard will feature shop fronts, alfresco dining seats, a bar made from railway sleepers, and real trees, all of which is intended to make customers feel like they are sitting in a ‘traditional London yard’. The concept aims to offer an ‘alternative’ type of bar for workers in the offices of the City.
It will have a classic cocktail menu which also includes a number of exclusive serves such as the Jewel in the Crown cocktail and a Langley’s No.8 and Bermondsey Tonic Water gin and tonic.
Langley’s brand manager Nik Koster said: “This is our biggest project yet and we are really excited to get started. It’s been excellent working with such a fantastic and likeminded team and we can’t wait to get it open.”
Langley’s Yard is part of a two year partnership between Langley’s No.8 and The Crown & Shuttle which will remain open until April 2016, taking a summer break in 2015.
