Pulia to open first UK deli

Pulia was founded by a group of entrepreneurs from the UK and Italy, who between them have more than 70 years’ experience in food, fashion and finance.
The chain has existing stores in Milan, Venice, Torino and Florence, but this is the first time it has ventured off Italian soil.
The site near Borough Market will feature a deli and 30-cover dining area serving typical Apulian cuisine including focaccia, panzerotti, pizza rustica, salads and delicacies such as rustici (puff pastry delicacies), crocche di patate (potatoes with a variety of fillings) and pasticciotto (typical custard pie).
Apulian produce such as parmigiana, burrata and mozzarella cheeses, dried pastas, olive oils, wine will also be on offer, alongside natural organic smoothies and specialist coffees.
Pulia will open on Stoney Street, London, SE1 in February 2015
