The awards, which took place at The Marriott Hotel in Grosvenor Square in London last week, recognised successful industry professionals, companies, and students in the finance and IT sides of hospitality.
Dukes, who was only the fifth ever recipient of HOSPA’s Lifetime Achievement Award, was praised for overseeing ‘the highly successful evolution, rebranding and development’ of the former British Association of Hospitality Accountants (BAHA) into HOSPA during his chairmanship.
HOSPA’s chief executive Carl Weldon said: "Thanks to Paul's term as chairman our financial status and industry influence has never been higher. He has left an invaluable legacy, a strong and highly successful foundation from which we can grow and prosper.”
