Available across the UK in both the on and off-trade, Orchard Fruits has an ABV of 4% and is being sold in single 500ml bottles.
The Orchard Fruit launch will be supported alongside the existing Carling British Cider range with a £5.4m advertising campaign that includes TV, outdoor and digital activity.
The flavoured cider market might be a crowded one, but Molson Coors expects Orchard Fruits to build on the momentum gained by the Carling British Cider brand.
The original Apple variant, which entered the market in 2013, was recently a winner in the Product of the Year 2015, which collected votes from more than 12,000 UK households.
Why you should buy it:
Jim Shearer, Carling brand director at Molson Coors UK, said: “Cider is an exciting category and continues to attract more and more consumers with the fruit cider category, registering 30% year-on-year growth.
Shearer added: “We believe that the recipe for success for the Carling British Cider portfolio is recognisably British flavours that are simply described and distinct in their flavour profile. This is the key reason that the Cherry flavour has delivered beyond our expectations.”
