Italian ingredients brand Sacla has launched a range of products into the hospitality sector.

Product details:

Sacla Professionale is a range of 'authentic and versatile' products made in Italy which are now available to the foodservice market. The products mirror those already seen in the retail market and include basil pesto, organic tomato passata, capers, black eyed peas, artichoke quarters and pepper strips. The range also include the Galvanina premium fruit-based soft drinks.

USP:

All fresh produce used in the range is grown in Italy and harvested at peak freshness. The range is designed to encourage creativity in the kitchen, said Sacla UK's managing director Clare Blampied and can be used in a variety of dishes.

"We believe that now is the time to launch a carefully selected range of these unique products to the UK market, catering for consumer demand for quality, provenance and value for money. Our ambition is to become a go-to supplier of quality authentic Italian food and drink," she said.

Why you should buy it:

Italian food is a popular choice for diners says Sacla with research carried out by OnePoll in December 2014 revealing that 92 per cent of UK consumers enjoy eating Italian food and 42 per cent of them prefer to enjoy it out at a pub or restaurant and therefore it pays to have an authentic Italian offering for them.

“The launch of Sacla’ Professionale responds to Britain’s ongoing love affair with Italian food and builds upon our longstanding reputation for excellence and quality in the grocery channel,” says Blampied. “We are proud to have 75 years of experience creating Italian food with care, flair and love, and we are well established in Italy where many thriving hotels and restaurants use our trusted products."
