The 40-cover restaurant will open on the lower ground floor of the Knightsbridge department store in April, replacing Italian restaurant pop-up Stelle di Stelle which ran until the end of January.
Diners will be served truffles in a variety of different dishes and drinks with signature dishes including Burrata with Truffle Honey and Fresh Truffle; Tartufi & Friends Burger with Chianina beef, Foie gras, Sweet Onion Marmalade, Fresh Truffle, Mustard and Mayonnaise with Truffle and Duck Club Sandwich with Crispy Asparagus and Celeriac with Truffle, Egg, Corn Crisp, Pomegranate and Fresh Truffle.
The truffle-focused cocktail menu includes the Truffle Martini - a blend of coffee, cacao liqueur, truffle honey and truffle slices; Tartufi & Friends Margarita - made with white truffle salt, tequila and lime juice and Rosemary Fizz - dry gin, truffle honey syrup and fresh lime juice, club soda and rosemary.
The restaurant, which has been designed by architect Laura Franco, will also sell a retail line of 67 Tartufi & Friends branded items such as limited edition Extra Virgin Olive Oil with White Truffle, Truffle infused Chocolates, Truffle Honeys and Truffle Salts & Condiments.
Tartufi & Friends London will be owner the Sermoneta Group's third truffle lounge following sites in Rome and Milan. The luxury brand, known for its retail expertise in fashion and luxury, is building its presence with the luxury food division with plans to also open in Doha and Dubai.
