Dishes will include Veal Sweetbread, Nettles Pure, Spicy Leaves and Cheese Whey; Lamb belly with Turnips, Wild Garlic and Unripe Elderberries; and Rye Bread Porridge, Beetroot Sorbet and Milk.
The former chef patron of Michelin-starred North Road is teaming up with forager Peter Studzinski, who collects ingredients from the South Coast and New Forest.
“Co-Founder Tom and I have been eating Chris' food for over ten years now and to finally get to work with him is a great honour," said Verden co-founder Ed Wyand.
"His food is exceptional and we are incredibly excited to have him taking over the kitchen at Verden for two weeks."
Verden was opened in 2014 by former Scott’s head maitre d’ Wyand, chef Tom Fraser, and ex Ogilvy PR associate director Tom Bell.
The limited edition menu will be available in the evenings between 21 March and 5 April. The usual selection of lunch, brunch and cheese and charcuteries will be available at lunchtimes and weekends.
