The Gordon Ramsay Group is to turn the site of its Chelsea bistro Foxtrot Oscar into a Maze Grill.

The 55-cover restaurant at 79 Royal Hospital Road will re-open as the group's third Maze Grill in May, following the opening of nearby Maze Grill Park Walk on 22 April.

Gordon Ramsay Group managing director Stuart Gillies said: “We are delighted to be re-opening in Chelsea. Our flagship Maze Grill in Mayfair continues to thrive and we are now growing the brand by extending into cosmopolitan neighbourhood locations."

As with the original Maze Grill, Maze Grill Chelsea will take inspiration from the grillrooms of Manhattan and serve rare breed steaks, fish and poultry from the grill as well as offer sushi and sashimi.

The new restaurant will be the 14th opening for the Gordon Ramsay Group in the UK and is part of a plan to extend the Maze Grill concept to more sites.

Gillies said the search for more sites for Maze Grill was continuing.
