Ossett brewery is opening a new canal side venue at Leeds’ Granary Wharf following a £300,000 investment.

CANDLEBAR, situated at the iconic Candle House, marks a departure from the format of the micro-brewers' 23 pub sites.

The site will serve 14 world craft beers, real cider, a range of classic cocktails and Ossetts own cask beer alongside wood-fired pizza, gourmet sharing boards and a selection of salads.

Each month will feature 12 wines from a different country of the world, paired with special edition pizzas and salads using toppings from the host country.

Jamie Lawson, managing director of Ossett Brewery, said: “We of course know both Leeds and Granary Wharf well from our continued success with The Hop, Leeds but this venue is totally different to those we have launched previously and we can’t wait for others to experience it.”

Ossett Brewery were named the UK’s Best Microbrewing Pub Company at The Publican Awards in 2013.
