The 64-bed site occupies a converted office space and features multiple penthouse suites with rooftop balconies.
Three years in the making, the 'New Generation' concept has also seen the five existing Roomzzz sites in Leeds, Manchester and Newcastle undergo a major £2m refurbishment to replace the bold interiors with black and white cityscapes.
The Aparthotels, which run at 90 per cent occupancy, are designed to attract high spending leisure and business travellers, whose average stay is 50 per cent longer than a guest staying in a traditional hotel.
“The Aparthotel model is not the same as a hotel. Roomzzz guests are typically professionals and are guests looking for a longer term stay than a hotel can reasonably offer,” said Roomzzz Aparthotel head Mark Walton.
“We are pleased to introduce Roomzzz 'New Generation' with the launch of Roomzzz Chester City which is based on a decade of knowledge, experience and research into customer decisions when booking accommodation.”
The second Roomzzz Aparthotel 'New Generation' site will open in Nottingham at the start of May 2015.
