The company, run by Living Ventures founder Paul Newman and celebrity chef David Mooney, will launch the second in their Beef & Pudding concept.
This venue will be a replica of New Moon’s Manchester restaurant, which opened in early spring 2014.
The 140-cover restaurant and bar will mix pub classics with more unique dishes, including the north-west inspired Beef’Ham Tower.
Newman said: “Having operated in Liverpool before, I am thrilled to be back at the helm of what promises to be the proverbial third place for Liverpool’s great and good.”
New Moon is opening its first Liverpool site Old Blind School in May, a food-led venue based on the company's Old Sessions House in Knutsford.
This opening will be the 8th site for the company, who have opened seven venues in the last four years.
