The celebrity chef, who owns Michelin-starred Purnell’s, has created Harvey Nichols Brasserie for the brands’ new design concept store opening in Birmingham's The Mailbox in July.
The customisable, luxury all-day dining concept will serve as the blueprint for the retailer’s future hospitality offering.
Purnell has worked closely with the store to develop an all-day menu, mentor the restaurant’s new head chef and hospitality team, recruit local suppliers, and source the specialist ingredients used in each dish.
“I’m really excited to be working with Harvey Nichols and the fantastic hospitality team to create a bespoke and informal dining experience to add to the diverse food and drink scene in Birmingham,” said Purnell.
As well as eating in the restaurant, guests will be able to enjoy the specially designed menu at the tapas-style Chef’s table in the 15-cover private dining room, as well as at a communal table in the Harvey Nichols Wine Shop.
The site also features a cocktail bar which can be accessed in-store or via a separate entrance out of hours.
