Ross Shonhan is opening his fifth Japanese restaurant, the third under the Bone Daddies brand, on London’s Old Street in August.

The chef, who also runs Flesh and Buns​ and Shackfuyu,​ will launch the 60-cover ramen restaurant within the new Bower Complex.

On the menu will be a selection Bone Daddies favourites alongside unique additions to the site.

A selection of dishes are currently in development, including ‘dressed-up’ Kushikatsu – skewered, breaded and fried meats and fish 'tickled' with assorted sauces. The signature Yuzu Margarita will feature on a cocktail list combining new mixes and old favourites.

The Old Street site will open for lunch and dinner and adhere to the same no reservations policy as its sister restaurants.

Shonhan opened the first Bone Daddies Ramen Bar​ in Soho in 2012 after holding head chef positions at Nobu in Dallas and London's Zuma.

BigHospitality reported last year​ that the restaurateur is planning to expand the brand, and is considering Soho, Bermondsey and Shoreditch for future sites.
